Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) as a potential carrier for controlled release of drug molecules. The hydroxyl groups of MCC was modified by using salicylic acid. The modified MCC (MCC-SA) has a more negative surface charge than unmodified MCC. The particle size of MCC-SA decreased significantly. The particle size distribution of MCC-SA showed a multimodal distribution with a main peak centered at 24nm, indicating that the MCC-SA particles are rather monodisperse. The micromeritic properties of MCC-SA were almost identical to those of unmodified MCC. The contact angle of MCC-SA was lower than that of unmodified MCC. The absorption of BSA in MCC-SA was slightly higher than that of MCC. The swelling behavior of MCC-SA was slower than that of MCC. In the in vitro release study, the drug release from MCC-SA was slightly faster than that of MCC. In the in vivo release study, the bioavailability of ibuprofen in MCC-SA was increased remarkably. The release of ibuprofen from MCC-SA was governed by the Fick's law. These results suggested that MCC-SA could be used as a suitable carrier for controlled release of drugs.Q: Using jQuery to scroll page in left to right direction when the user clicks the left button on the mouse I have the following code which scrolls the window from left to right: $(document).ready(function() { $('#div').on('click', function() { window.scrollBy(0, -150); }); }); I need the same functionality but if the user clicks the left button on the mouse it should scroll to the left.
