This release includes three new scenery areas: (1) a new pontoons lake, (2) a new cargo terminal, and (3) a new RFU (radio/phone) tower. (1) is by far my most requested, given that Fermo introduced their airplane pontoons to the AIP 1.0 landscape. It is a big improvement over our old pontoons lake. (2) and (3) are additions that I hope will add a new feature to FS2004 - making FAA emergencies a little easier. Fermo's Emergency Service (ES) / EMERGENCY has an overflight airfield with several buildings and hangers, complete with aircraft. While this was perfectly fine and all that (my F500 certainly enjoyed it), it didn't include any emergency aircraft. Now it does. In addition to the buildings and hangers, you'll find an APDB, aviation radio/phone tower, a FUEL TANK FARM, a FUEL PUMP, and a large parking apron with FUEL TANKS, PUMPS and CASH REGISTERS. The airport is very active, especially during the summer. (4) Improvements have also been made to the RP LANDING - you'll find a FUEL TANK FARM and a PUMP there now. (5) The airport helipad's road is now a little more realistic and the texture on the road surface has improved a bit.
...Addition of the new WX-related updates (new traffic light controller, fixed traffic lights and static L1), landscape modifications on the RP LANDING, implementation of the new "roundel" approach-tracking-TACAN, improvement of the aircraft collections by a new runway, a new additional dead-reckoning adjustment for GROUND SHOVEL, new buildings on the airport, addition of the new GSX (ground services), updating of the ABS files for the runway pattern and TACAN. d2c66b5586
